Rachel Becker, LMSW

Rachel Becker, LMSW, is director of programs for Cancer and Careers, an organization that empowers people with cancer to thrive in their workplace by providing advice, interactive tools and educational events. As assistant director of programs, Rachel oversees Cancer and Careers’ 13 webinars. She also provides direct support to people who access Cancer and Careers, manages their travel scholarship program, and ensures their continuing education programs meet the standards of state and national accrediting bodies. Rachel regularly presents on cancer-related work topics at community events and national conferences.

Before joining Cancer and Careers, Rachel was head of client services at CarePlanners, where she designed and implemented a technology system for delivering and monitoring support services. She has also worked at the Jewish Child Care Association and New York Methodist Hospital. She is a member of the Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW) and recipient of the Zelda Foster Fellowship in Palliative and End-of-Life Care.
