Dr. Chaoul is assistant professor at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he conducts research using mind-body techniques with cancer patients. He also holds group and individual meditation classes and clinic for cancer patients and their support systems at the Integrative Medicine Center.
Together with his academic training in the Tibetan spiritual traditions, Dr. Chaoul has trained with Tibetan lamas since 1989.
Dr. Chaoul is an associate faculty member at The McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics, where he teaches medical students in the areas of spirituality, complementary and integrative medicine, and end-of-life-care.
