Leadership Volunteer programs
Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Leadership Volunteers are ambassadors in their community to connect women and men diagnosed with breast cancer to our programs and services.
Breast Cancer Helpline Volunteer
Our Helpline volunteers provide peer emotional support to those affected by breast cancer. Volunteers are matched with callers based on similar experiences. All volunteers receive extensive training and must be at least one year beyond active treatment or living with metastatic breast cancer to participate.
Hear My Voice Metastatic Advocacy Volunteer
Hear My Voice volunteers use their personal experiences with stage IV breast cancer to raise awareness and understanding about metastatic breast cancer.
Young Advocate Volunteer
Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Young Advocate Program provides the tools and training to help young people use their personal breast cancer experience to make a difference in their communities by connecting others to LBBC’s programs and services, further their understanding of the disease and advocate for others. This training program is for people diagnosed with breast cancer before age 45 and were diagnosed within the last 3 years or are living with metastatic breast cancer.
