Who should attend this event?

Newbies, early learners, intermediate, and advanced intermediate players.

What is unique about this event?

  • Open play all day. You won't have to sit around and wait to play!
  • Pro instruction with small classes to work on specific skills all morning (max 6 people per instructor)
  • Watch a professional match during lunch with commentary from an instructor after every point. This is a highlight you won't want to miss.
  • Lunch and giveaways are included for those who sign up for the full day.
  • Raffles and an auction with amazing items
  • A Round Robin tournament followed by a playoff with the top eight players, and an awards ceremony in the afternoon.

All funds raised will support Living Beyond Breast Cancer's mission to connect people impacted by breast cancer with trusted information and a community of support.

Schedule

9:00 – 10:00 a.m. | Check-in and open play

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Morning session: Clinics with local professionals

12:00 – 1:00 p.m. | Intermission, lunch, expo, and remarks

1:00 – 3:00 p.m. | Afternoon session: Round-robin tournament

3:00 – 3:30 p.m. | Play off with the top eight players and awards ceremony

Morning session | Clinics

There are several different clinics to choose from depending on your skill level. You may only select one clinic. The choices are:

  • Early learners
  • Intermediate improvers
  • NVZ – Dinking and volleying
  • Transition Zone – 3rd shot drops and drives
  • Baseline Skills – serving and returning

Note: You will be asked your clinic preference at the time of registration. If you would like to be with other specific players, please make sure you select the same clinic.

Afternoon session | Round-robin tournament

Relish the fun and play a series of competitive games with alternate partners. No need to find a partner, all players will be grouped by skill level. You will play one game with each of your court mates. Individual scores will be tallied, and the highest score earns "Captain of the Court". Court winners will then be grouped and play for the championship followed by an awards ceremony!

Note: You will be asked what skill level you are at the time of registration.
