Andrea Pusic, MD, MHS, FRCS, FACS, is a plastic surgeon at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. With grant support from the Plastic Surgery Foundation, she and a team of international collaborators developed the BREAST-Q, a tool to measure women’s satisfaction with the outcome of breast reconstruction. In 2007, she was awarded the Clinical Research Recognition Award by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She is chair of that organization’s clinical trial committee, co-primary investigator of the National Breast Implant Registry and co-primary investigator of the Mastectomy Reconstruction Outcome Consortium study.
