Shirley Otis-Green, MSW, MA, ACSW, LCSW, OSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of and consultant for Collaborative Caring, and an internationally recognized speaker on quality of life, palliative care, leadership development, and the creation of meaningful organizational change. She focuses her career on delivering culturally sensitive, person-centered and family-focused inter-professional palliative care.

Ms. Otis-Green has been recognized with many awards and been featured in more than 100 publications and 500 professional presentations. She serves as principle investigator on many studies, and is a co-editor of the Oxford Textbook of Palliative Social Work. Ms. Otis-Green is a California HealthCare Foundation Leadership Fellow, a Distinguished Social Work Practitioner in the National Academies of Practice, and serves on several editorial and professional boards.
