Megan Rutt was diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer 5 years ago. She had chemotherapy and a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. She has tested positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation. Megan works part time as a financial consultant and is on the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Board of Directors. She is a runner, triathlete and mother of three young children (and a new puppy!). She spends her time advocating for breast cancer patients and has had the opportunity to represent patient concerns to pharmaceutical companies and lawmakers.
