Don S. Dizon, MD, FACP, FASCO

Don S. Dizon, MD, FACP, FASCO (@drdonsdizon), is a professor of medicine at Brown University and director of women’s cancers at Lifespan Cancer Institute in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a medical oncologist specializing in women’s cancers and sees patients in a clinic for those experiencing sexual dysfunction after cancer.

Dr. Dizon does research in many areas, including new treatments, survivorship after cancer, and social media. He also writes a column for ASCO Connection where he focuses on the human experience of doctoring in order to provide a glimpse of the physician as a person. He is active on several social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, a passion that provides a means to connect with both patients and colleagues.
