Christina Bach, MBE, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker and certified oncology social worker and holds a master’s degree in bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She currently works as an educational content specialist and psychosocial content editor at Penn Medicine’s OncoLink, the web’s first cancer resource. She previously worked for 15 years at Penn Medicine in inpatient and outpatient settings caring for cancer patients.

Ms. Bach’s areas of interest include improving communication between patients and healthcare professionals, patient education and empowerment, end of life care, medical ethics, technology, self care for oncology professionals and animal assisted therapy. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Oncology Social Work, where she serves as education director, and on the Advisory Board for Camp Kesem/UPENN, which offers a free summer camp experience for children who have a parent with cancer. Ms. Bach also enjoys cooking, travel, knitting and spending quality time with her three beagles, Maggie, Finn and Linus.
