Kendra oversees marketing and communications at Living Beyond Breast Cancer and ensures that we are reaching our community when and where they need us most.
The marketing team collaborates across the organization to create and execute all branding and promotional strategies supporting LBBC’s mission to connect people to trusted information and a community of support. Kendra worked with LBBC from 2014 to 2021 and recently rejoined the team in May, 2023.
Prior to joining LBBC, Kendra worked as the director of programs and planning at the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance for seven years where she managed marketing and capacity building programs. Kendra was a stage manager, director, and props mistress.
Kendra's maternal grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer three times before it spread to her pancreas. She was in and out of treatment for most of Kendra's childhood but Kendra never knew it until she was much older. Her grandmother's silence and her resilience are part of why Kendra finds the work of Living Beyond Breast Cancer so meaningful and important.
Kendra lives in New Jersey with her husband and son. She loves to cook, garden, watch British crime dramas, visit museums, and spend time outdoors.
Seeing the impact of community support and shared understanding for those who feel so alone with their diagnosis, it's very powerful and reassuring.
