Highlights
- Has worked at LBBC since 2025
As manager of support services at LBBC, Jamie leads financial assistance and support programs for people affected by breast cancer and their loved ones, including the LBBC Fund, Breast Cancer Helpline, and Reading for Reassurance programs.
Jamie joined the organization in 2025 with extensive experience providing community-based psychosocial support programs for individuals and their families navigating cancer.
Before LBBC, she worked at Cancer Support Community Greater Cincinnati- Northern Kentucky and Gilda’s Club Chicago. In her most recent role as program director, she was responsible for program oversight, strategic planning, and community outreach with hospital partners.
A licensed professional clinical counselor, Jamie has worked as both a school-based therapist and an early childhood and family therapist. Her clinical knowledge, along with personally experiencing cancer within her own family, gives her a deep understanding of the emotional impact of a diagnosis on the whole family. This insight and empathy fuel her commitment to ensuring that others have access to the support and resources they need to improve their quality of life.
Jamie is based in Ohio, where she enjoys seeing musical theater, trying new restaurants, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her husband and family.
It is incredibly inspiring to connect with people and their loved ones affected by cancer and witness their resilience and ability to cope during difficult times. Seeing firsthand the compassion of our community and how they come together to support each other reinforces for me the importance of psychosocial support programs and why I work in this field.
