She is drawn to LBBC’s mission because of its direct work with the breast cancer community, as well as its longevity and maturity in the field. Her father died from glioblastoma multiforme; her mother lives with multiple myeloma; and her daughter is currently undergoing treatment for gestational trophoblastic tumors. She believes everyone has been impacted, at some point, directly or indirectly by cancer. Trusted resources and support, like those offered by LBBC, are crucial to the mental, emotional, and physical health of patients and their families.
