An experienced network television news producer, medical journalist, and communications professional, Amy is director of River Blue Productions. At River Blue, she creates documentary film and book projects related to nature and wellness, medical and research news and reporting, global health, and the welfare of women and children.
Before becoming a documentary film maker, Amy headed the public relations efforts for the cancer center team at Children’s Hospital (CHOP) of Philadelphia, leading the global communications initiative for CHOP’s success in cancer research. She believes every person diagnosed with breast cancer deserves to be treated well. Amy served on the board of Sphinx, a social justice organization focused on increasing racial diversity in classical music, and volunteered at the National Council on Women’s Health. She lives in the Rocky Mountains.
