Sonya began her nursing career in 2006. She immediately found her passion in oncology and has remained in the field for the last seventeen years.

She is now a nurse navigator for Northern Light Mercy Cancer Care, coordinating complex cancer care for all patients coming into the practice regardless of diagnosis. She is certified in oncology nursing and medical/surgical nursing. She also continues to practice as an oncology infusion nurse a few times a month to keep her skills current. When not working, Sonya spends her time on Sebago Lake with her husband enjoying nature and the healing energy of the water.
