Driven by passion and her personal experience of living with metastatic breast cancer for 12 years, Lesley Kailani Glenn is dedicated to partnering with communities, researchers, and organizations to fund research for a cure, raise awareness of metastatic breast cancer, and support those who live with the disease.
Lesley holds a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership and has been actively involved in advocacy since 2015, when she trained with the inaugural Hear My Voice Volunteer class presented by Living Beyond Breast Cancer. In 2018, she returned as a mentor and received the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Leadership Volunteer Award that fall.
Lesley is the co-founder of the annual Make Good Moves, Climb for a Cure, held in Southern California, which funds research. She enjoys collaborating with researchers and stakeholders in the metastatic breast cancer field. Her work includes peer review for Susan G. Komen’s Advocates in Science and the Department of Defense.
In 2021, she launched Project Life, a virtual wellness community for those living with metastatic breast cancer and their loved ones, which serves over 1,600 members worldwide. Lesley lives in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon with her three rescue cats and one former hiking dog.
