Camille A. Lewis
Patient Advocate
Highlights
When Camille A. Lewis was diagnosed in May 2019 with aggressive stage II, grade 3, triple-negative breast cancer, she refused to let her identity be defined solely by her medical journey. An anti-bias early childhood educator and preschool teacher situated within Denver, Colorado's vibrant Jewish community, she harnessed her experiences to champion a transformative message.
From the outset of her diagnosis, Camille directed her energy into civic activism and patient advocacy within the realm of health equity. A devoted mother, impassioned baseball mom, and avid baseball enthusiast, Camille swings for the fences as an unstoppable force, attributing her determination to a higher purpose.
Within her varied roles, Camille proudly serves as an Angel Advocate for the Tigerlily Foundation, extending her advocacy reach as a health equity consultant, clinical trials advocate, and champion. Furthermore, her contributions as a breast cancer patient engagement collaborator underscore her dedication to raising awareness, promoting equity, and enhancing patient experiences.
