He is a past president and board member, and the incoming CEO of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. American Cancer Society Recommends Fewer Mammograms

The American Cancer Society is recommending women who aren’t at high risk for developing breast cancer start yearly mammograms at age 45 and switch to every other year at age 55. They should continue getting the test every other year for as long as they are in good health and are expected to live 10 or more years.
