Dr. Eliza "Leeza" Park, MD, MSc, is a psychiatrist and an expert on the intersection of mental health and cancer. Following her clinical training at Harvard Longwood/Brigham and Women’s Hospital, she held a faculty position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in the care and treatment of individuals with cancer.
Dr. Park also assumed leadership roles at the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center, overseeing various research projects addressing the psychological impact of cancer, cancer caregiving, bereavement, and the unique stressors of parenting with cancer.
In 2023, she launched Park Psychiatry, PLLC, a private psychiatry and psychotherapy practice in North Carolina, dedicated to helping individuals coping with cancer and cancer survivorship lead valued and purposeful lives. Dr. Park additionally serves as a consulting psychiatrist for oncology clinics seeking integrated behavioral healthcare solutions for their patients.
