April Finley, a dedicated professional school counselor for over 18 years, is a single southern belle who advocates for children. In 2016, she was diagnosed with triple- negative breast cancer at the age of 35. Test results also indicated she was BRCA1-positive.
As a patient advocate, April has completed Project LEAD training with the National Breast Cancer Coalition and Young Advocate training with Living Beyond Breast Cancer. She was recently accepted into the Ignite training program. April is on a mission to share her testimony and support others in their fight for life. Additionally, she serves as a regional coordinator for the beautiful ministry and non-profit organization known as Compassion that Compels.
