Lynn has worked for over 23 years in the nonprofit sector, specifically in the mental health field.
Within the breast cancer community, she has personally experienced several barriers to care because of living in rural areas. She would like to advocate for issues that may impact access to care and for anything that will expand research for breast cancer including advocacy and fund development.
Her husband, Russell, her black lab named Sunny Day, gardening, spending time with family and friends, work, and travel bring her joy.
If I can help give voice to those who need assistance but experience barriers to care, advocacy, education, or treatment, that is my goal. I also want to use my personal experience to influence and advocate for donations towards research and education.
