Tiah believed that no sister should walk this journey alone and founded the My Breast Years Ahead Sisterhood, a sisterhood of women survivors. She also co-founded My Style Matters, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides support, resources, education as well as healthy lifestyle experiences to cancer patients and their loved ones.

In 2019, upon obtaining news of a recurrence, Tiah opted to fight cancer a second time with food and faith. She adopted a whole food plant-based diet, removed products containing toxins or other dangerous chemicals from her home, and added other complementary practices to her daily routine. Tiah believes that by making healthy lifestyle changes, it can help improve one’s quality of life and help with better life outcomes and is now helping others on their quest toward optimal health as a licensed Food for Life Instructor.

Tiah is an activist, an advocate, a Cancer Coach, a Breast Health Educator, a consultant, and a Project Lead graduate of the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC). She developed Breast Health Matters, an empowerment and educational platform for teen girls and women and serves as the Program Manager for the Knowledge Is Power symposium that focuses on Black women diagnosed with breast cancer. Tiah has advocated for survivors on Capitol Hill; is a Community Advisory Board member with the Bench to Community Initiative, serves as a board member and advisory board member for several pharmaceutical companies and organizations; published a research paper on Clinical Trials in Metastatic Breast Cancer; has spoken on numerous talk shows and panels to include Tavis Smiley talk radio, American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and the Congressional Briefing with Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP). Through her life's work of she has received recognition and awards, including President Bush’s – Point of Lights Award.
