Shawn Walker

Highlights

In November 2021, Shawn Walker was diagnosed with stage II invasive ductal carcinoma at 47 years old. She went through chemotherapy and had a double mastectomy with immediate DIEP Flap reconstruction.

Shawn has been married almost 26 years and has four amazing children. She lives in a small town near Weatherford, Texas. She has loved being a stay-at-home mom for many years and is currently in training to become a certified yoga teacher. Her hope is to share the benefits of yoga with breast cancer patients and survivors. She is also working on a book about her breast cancer journey. Her dream is to share encouragement, hope, and support, as well as bring awareness to others.
