Josh played a primary role in coordinating and growing Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s online presence informed by the organization’s marketing strategy, employing Web analytics, social media messaging and e-communications. He also managed LBBC’s presence across channels, including but not limited Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and our award-winning blog. Josh started working for LBBC in 2012 as writer and Web content coordinator.
In 2014, Josh co-founded LBBC’s Twitter Chats to provide information and support to the organization’s online audience. LBBC’s Twitter Chats have focused on topics like triple-negative breast cancer, financial concerns, nutrition, intimacy and sexuality and breast reconstruction. Josh also authored the first Breast Cancer inFocus brochure, which provided tips and resources for LGBT people diagnosed with the disease.
Born and raised in Delaware County, Josh graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and women’s studies. Before joining LBBC, Josh was an online reporter for Philly.com’s blog, Neighbors Main Line, where he wrote news and feature stories about the suburbs northwest of Philadelphia. He has previously written for The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Daily News, and Philadelphia City Paper.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys reading, writing, obsessing over superheroes and nerd culture, cooking, jogging, exploring Philadelphia’s food scene and watching excessive amounts of TV and film.
