Abigail M. Johnston, JD, was living her life, running her business, and tandem breastfeeding her sons when she found a lump in her left breast.

After a whirlwind of appointments, tests, and surgeries, as well as a misdiagnosis, Abigail was diagnosed with de novo stage IV metastatic breast cancer (MBC) at the age of 38.

Presently on her 7th (or 9th, depending on how lines of treatment are counted) line of therapy, she lives in Orlando, Florida, with her husband, two sons, and a very spoiled cat. After her diagnosis, Abigail closed her thriving law office and now dedicates her time and energy to advocacy.
