Melinda Feola-Mahar, MA, DA

Melinda Feola-Mahar lives in New Hampshire with her wife, Alison. Together they have four children adopted through the foster care system. Melinda’s career spans more than 40 years, including a psychotherapy practice, community mental health outreach, and a non-profit community collaborative to serve the needs of community members falling through the cracks of the system. Most recently, she worked as a national consultant to states interested in improving their child welfare system of care.

In addition, Melinda has served as adjunct faculty at several institutions of higher education, where she focused on child welfare and foster care.
