Amy Russell-Parliman, MHA, serves as a director of diagnostic imaging for a health system in upstate New York, but her accent is all Georgia.
After being diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in 2014, Amy faced a metastatic lobular invasive carcinoma diagnosis in 2019. Since then, her advocacy efforts have included serving as the social media coordinator for Project Life, completing Living Beyond Breast Cancer's Hear My Voice program in 2022, and working as a patient advocate for DOD grants. She also educates others about diagnostic testing through Spinning Science and other platforms, serves on the MBC Leadership Committee for SurvivingBreastCancer.org, and is an individual member of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Alliance.
Amy is married to her sweetheart, Chris, and they have three fur babies who run their household.
