Hilary is interested in personal advocacy as well as being trained in scientific/research advocacy and legislative/policy advocacy.
Hilary was first diagnosed with cancer in law school and still practices full-time as general counsel of a healthcare data analytics company. She is an avid runner and weightlifter. She loves to travel, read, watch baseball, sleep, and snuggle with her Westie, Tallulah.
I was diagnosed stage III at age 24 and stage IV at age 40 during a global pandemic. As a young single woman facing cancer alone, I'm driven to ensure others never feel isolated. Providing personal advocacy and support is my passion. Despite hurdles like breaking both femurs and discovering brain progression, I'm committed to sharing my knowledge to improve others’ experiences and prevent similar obstacles.
