Stephanie Broadnax Broussard is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), advanced certified hospice and palliative care social worker (APHSW-C), and a certified advanced care planning facilitator and trainer.
A proud Louisiana native, she graduated from Louisiana Tech University. She continued to the University of Texas at Arlington, where she received her master's degree and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at the University of Kentucky. Stephanie is the director of palliative care and social work at Texas Oncology and a therapist in private practice.
As a motivational speaker and educator, Stephanie engages and challenges her audiences with her witty yet straightforward approach. The versatility in her messages has afforded her opportunities to grace national and local platforms. Stephanie also enjoys sharing these messages and moments on her podcast, "It Comes with Living."
Stephanie serves her community in many capacities. Stephanie currently serves on the board of directors for community organizations Women in Power Empowering and Care and Prepare (Formerly Coalition for Quality End of Life Care). Stephanie is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Although proud of her professional accolades, Stephanie holds being the wife of Cory and the mother of her two boys, Cory and Corben, as her most significant honors. A self-declared "foodie," Stephanie believes she has a chef's palette. Still, she is keenly aware that has not translated into an ability to make great food.
